Great Service and highest quality products here. And they keep up to date on the products if the manufacturer makes a change. Jonah(the shaman lab) suddenly quit liking his food and started having allergic reactions , and sure enough they told us Dick Van Patton's had changed the ingredients. If your like me you hate making CEO's and shareholders at Petco or Petsmart( who care nothing about your dog) get richer. You love to see a hard working couple like this become successful against the odds of the big stores. Plus they will lay some samples on you if your having a tough time making it to payday. To spend $5+ on gas and 40+ minutes of driving time to save a few dollars isn't the only way Pearly Q is lazy.
This is the only place we buy our cat food in the county. It is locally owned by a wonderful couple. They always make you feel at home when you go inside. The really cool part is they have pictures of all their customers' pets up on the wall! It is truly a small town gem. So if you live in the san lorenzo valley, support your local pet food store!!

Friendly, knowledgable, fast service and a true interest in the health of your pet. They helped us find a natural food that our cat will eat by sending us home with ten generous samples - free. Try getting that from a box store...

What a terrific place! Great, friendly, and knowledgeable. They spoke in depth about the choices we had for food for our puppy, and they were very interested in finding the right type for him. Had BETTER prices than the local pet store we had been shopping at before we moved to Felton. Definitely support this terrific local business.

The shop is well-stocked with variety and high quality (esp for us pet snobs who spoil our children rotten), the owners are extremely friendly, very eager to help and advise, generous, and Tempest (the big fluffy grey cat who really runs the entire store from the front counter) is too cool for words. Im a loyal customer now.
